This section is a little about me, I am a punter from Huntingtion Beach,CA. I went to Marina High School
in HB. We were really bad so I got a lot of practice. and eventually I found my way to Orange Coast College to play for
Coach Taylor and the Pirates. I love it a OCC it has the best facilities in america and the team isnt half bad, we were 5-5
this year getting our last win against our rivals Golden West College abd winning the Victory Bell Back. But the season had
some low points for me and some really high points. But its an experience that i have learned from and will continue to strive
to get better and achieve my goals. Below is one of my achievements this year, being named special teams player of the week
for my kicking against Pasadena.
Saddleback College quarterback Brian Shrock, Cerritos College linebacker Michael Terry, and Orange Coast
College punter David Harrington have been named Week 3 Mission Football Conference Players of the Week for their performances
on the field.
Harrington (K/P, 6-2, 160, Fr., Marina HS) is named special teams player of the week for his impressive punting effort in Orange Coast’s 27-25 loss to Pasadena. Harrington punted seven times for 263 yards (37.6 average). Six of those punts landed inside the 20, including three punts inside the five-yard line. |
